Jesus said that ‘your Father knows what you need before you ask him. This, then, is how you should pray….’ (Matthew 6:8).
Sit with His words and be open to how He wants to root their truth in your heart.
I won’t go so far as to suggest you only pray His prayer throughout October, but perhaps you might like to pray it slowly – with thought and sincerity – at least once each day through the month….?
So, Word for the Week has morphed to Word for the Month! I won’t bore you with the ‘why’, but how might Paul’s words inspire your response?
What common ground do you already have with family, friends, colleagues and neighbours, over which you can build a bridge to take the Good News?
What common ground could you nurture?
